      .

Well, as they say, buy the item not the story (or the statni). Im sure statni marked items can also be made up after the fact with "original" insignia like some statni m43 caps that have popped out so we cant depend on the statni name alone as a seal of untouched approval. This tunic is stitched with all the same thread all faded at the same rate, wear loooks even to me it looks but i dont know with my experience if thats nessecarily a bad or good things? Hands on would be the best bet and if it looks all good in hands i guess you could say 50 50 when the insignia was actually applied like most things without rock solid provenance. Do you have any history of this tunic right back to its entry to the market or a collection. I know that there are people who might be able to help if its a statni item which is remembered by some fromway back? The prices of these certainly make them an investment from what i see quickly happening with prices!

            Hi Hasse

What is a M38 model tunic? Never heard of such a model.

It may be the photos, but collar looks very light green and the fieldgrey colour of as well. Backing behind collar does not look like what one want to see of a tunic from this period

Photos of insignias are not good enough for me to have any opinion on when they where added.

            Cheers
            Lasse

              Besslein, so I told him

Mr.Kongo: I guess (hope) the "m38" is just a typing mistake...
Interesting point about the collar backing and colour over all.

Anyone else have any problems with that?

              More opinions?

              Cheers!
