Perhaps someone should send this thread to the seller, as well as any bidders.

        That's the same seller...

...or at least I'm fairly sure it's the same seller.

I see these almost got by a couple people, they are really bad and the maker mark is just a start.

I remember seeing the Bohemia/Allach combo pieces and thought that was a pretty neat way to try and deceive, considering the connections to the firms.

Allach did have a separate location for dinnerware and household type items, but I have never seen a "mess hall" piece. And if I did it would bring added caution right off the bat. Most of the dinnerware items are typical of Allach quality but in a different manner.

I see that the fakers never cease to try and accomplish their ends, and I suppose it wont be long till they fix the logo, but to match the porcelain would be a challenge and to get the combination together? pretty tough.

The maker marks reflected in Oliver's original book are good, but there are others that are not included and rarely the case and generally on offbeat items.

Two Allach rearing stallions with the octagon have now been noted, one fake 2 years ago at the S.O.S and posted somewhere on this site, and a second recently on Ebay in color. Some other firm must have gotten hold of that mold after the war, which is something I have always disputed. But the octagon was molded to the piece and they are non-Allach.

Just some useless chatter, but I would be more careful.

The mugs are horrible and should have been picked off immediately. Kudo's Tony.

            eBay seller A1X1's description:

            "Description
You bid for 2 ALLACH PORCELAIN COFFEE Cups !!! different size !!!! green markted, --no chips or cracks--its from a household clossing, with other allach pieces--buyers pays 39$ for shipping+handling---payment only cash--"

Only $40 for shipping on two bogus ceramic mugs. What a deal!

Thankfully nobody bought these. I can only imagine that they will re-surface shortly

That's interesting, it sold on a buy it now to an Allach collector who would know or should know.

I don't even think I would need to see the mark on this particular piece, its just not right to me. I guess I could be wrong but I would be willing to wager that its bad just by the look.

                Have fun!
