Original collar tabs?

I was asked to post these collar tabs for discussion by a collecting colleague. I think the runic tab is bad, but is there any chance for the rank tab?

All I see so far are reproductions! If you mean rank tab with the Genrals tab that one is also a fake.

These are the only two photo sets he sent, Felix. The first two photos are of a rank tab. The runic tab doesn't look good - any chance for the other tab? s/f Robert

Hi guys-- thanks for the info. I had these sent sight unseen but with a 7-day return guarantee from an antique dealer friend. My first instinct was the the runic was bad. I checked the rank tab with a blacklight, even to the point of carefully pulling back the bullion to expose the base thread, and there were no synthetics. When were these made? The materials seem good-- is it an early fake, or are they using old materials? I'm new to SS tabs, so any extra info is appreciated. These are on the way back Monday though!

Have your friend compare his rank collar tab (SS-Obergruppenfuhrer) to these and I think he'll clearly see the difference.

I've been poking around on this forum for a couple of weeks now, and in short, you guys kick a@#.
