Mathias, read up on what Richard said - its a repro with a wash coating on top to make it look aged. I agree that some period photos are fuzzy but that is not the case.

The sealer is from Croatia and the story goes that this fotos are coming from old bosnian foto studio, if he coud be trusted !?

How can you see from the post that they are fake ?

Matt be very careful with these photos. I tried registering to ask for back scans of the pics but had little success.First thing to ask yourself is this.The seller offered you the set of 5 photos for 100 euro, a quarter of the minimum asked on the site.Also a collector of these photos would pay $150-$200 each for dream photos such as this. If these photos were good the seller would get them to the proper channels to get what they would be worth. SS portraits are faked just as much as insignia.This is a relatively new developement in the hobby and many are being burned lately.In the end the decision is yours but please listen to those trying to help. Guys:

Ive tried to find some of my worst conditioned SS photos to try & prove my point on natural age & water damage to artificially aged post war photographs of an original wartime image (I know its confusing but try & follow...lol ) These are both of the "fuzzy/blurry" variety & are what one would expect to see in well aged & damaged originals.....

Save this photo to your computer & then enlarge ....You'll see "brush strokes" through the face.Notice this one where you can see "white outs" from where the chemical they use bubbled up & didnt set on the paper? Im sure if you hit this with a black light youd see dayglo yellow & bright purple glow where the chemical bubbled. also just notice how the age changes tint through out the entire photo? also the misalignment of the photo.

You dont have to blow this one up to see the brush strokes from the chemical used to age this one........

Thank you all for your help, I realy apriciate it !

I will pass the fotos, but if you guys didnt explain what is the real story with this fotos i woud moust surten buy them, since i dont know much abouth fotografy and i have yust pure lust for all SS items, but original SS items !

Colecting original SS items becoums more and more hard work and daily learning, but that is why we all love it and when you finaly add new original SS item to your colection you can be very pleased with your self !!!
