Well, there are many here who are far more capable of evaluating this cap than I (Mr. Singer certainlyamong them), but it looks good to me. At least I can say that the insignia are unquestionably original and look as if they have been on that cap a long time.

Well Sir, perhaps and thank you very much. Although possibly an original Heer M43 hat, I would be suspect as to the insignias being war time applied (i.e., this hat being an SS piece).
