    Unusual Runic Tabs?

Bought a nice group of insignia and other stuff from a deceased vet's estate. Included were some SS collar tabs including these embroidered runics. I am not expert on SS tabs but in many years of collecting I have never seen the embroidered type on a smooth non woolen ground. Are these unusual? The last picture will be a shot of the whole grouping I took laid out as soon as I came home with it this morning.

                Don,

Please post a close-up of the embroidered cap eagle. That is something you do not see very often, either loose, or on a cap. Very nice find!!

Whats the story behind calling these Buchenwald tabs?

Felix, I think he meant Dachau.

                              Don,

Thank you for posting the cap eagle front and back. That is one screaming nice eagle. I think that is the nicest and rarest piece out of the whole batch. Not the most valuable, but the item you rarely see. Please start a list and put my name at the top of guys in line when and if, you ever go to sell it.
