well let me put it taht way i could entertain doubts, personaly i do not like the way the sweeing is arround the button holes, the inner pockets look a little strange like almost mint or new. i can t say much about the camo itself, i think someone with more experience will do this.

              Good smock

Good smock,it suiting good for fishing or if you wallpapering,if you sell it to
an bankrobber and he hide hisself in the wood after robbing, maybe the police
don't get him, cause they don't find him in the wood(through the camo effect)
,so an more valuable smock as other posters said.
Or you sell it to China that will bring the smock back in his Home country, where he
come from, you would make the smock really happy with that

I will concurr to most of the above comments. Although Im sure that experts will point their fingers at the most visible blunts at this Smock.

However that said, I think posting etiquette would be relevant. I think the that the owner deserve a decent answer and not more or less mature comments buried in smilies.

BTW, Last and fully off topic.

Wasnt their once a rule on how much space one could dedicate to useless signatures?

                regards Jens

Hi Jens, I have sent him a PM regarding his given location and large cartoon. Signatures are a privillage which can be removed. I have asked him to modify both.

Getting back on topic; the smock is a poor fake.

                  Cheers, Ade.

I have to go with my esteemed colleagues on their call on this smock - not authentic WWII. The pockets are terrible and the sleeve cuffs are hemmed just for starters.

This smock is indeed a fake from start to finish. I would like to ad that I find Spongebob comment repulsive.

                          Bob,
interesting comment on 'hemmed sleeve cuffs' is this a golden rule 'no no'
I have noticed this unfinished selvedge on early smock cuffs but have seen 'type 2 and 3' smocks with hemmed cuffs!!
would love to know more on this subject...... help!

I was always taught that hemming of the sleeves on any pullover camouflaged smock was a 'no-no'... I'm open to hearing and learning different, but that is what I was taught many years ago.
