    SS Cap Eagle maker?

    Hi Folks, I don't often venture into the SS Forum since (being a poor Irish lad) I don't seek out SS stuff. That said, in a lot purchased this week was an eagle that I might keep & so I hoped to find out who the maker was.

    The lower left feathers are marked with 55/42 - who were they?

        It looks like a nice Assmann 155/42 eagle to me.
