          I have been researching the insignia of the SS-TV recently and, apart from it being the most confusing of the branches, it seems to have been in almost constant flux.
          Anyway, when the three regiments were established in 1937 the hundertschaften system was re-organised. The regiments were divided into sturmbann, each of which were numbered with Roman numerals. Each sturmbann contained 4 hundertschaften.
          Previously the hundertschaften were numbered across the various detachments.
          These shoulderboards indicate the second sturmbann of a regiment.
          The III sturmbann comprised hundertschaften 9-12 as we can see in David's photos above.
          Hope this clarifies these boards.
