M1/52 Zinc Skull Opinions

After seeing a similar skull in a recent thread, I dug this one out of my junk box. I've owned it a long time but always thought it was bad. After seeing the other one, I thought I'd better make certain. Almost everywhere the finish is missing it's starting to have problems with zinc pest. It's visible on the jaw, teeth, eyebrows, and crossbones. If it turns out to be real I'll start giving it some better care.
