HBT smock

Just got a HBT smock in regular oak leaf pattern in mint condition.Does anybody have HBT smock in rauchtarn muster or ringed oak leaf one?I would like to see a photo.Thanks! P.

Yes, very nice piece! I used to have one in Blurred Edge. I'm not sure but i think they only came in limited patterns. I've never seen one in Plane Tree etc.

I believe you are correct. They printed up a bunch of HBT in Oakleaf and Blurred Edge to be used for smocks; however, very few of them were produced, the material instead going to make camouflaged panzer uniforms, the first of the two-piece style, which were non-reversible. The overwhelming majority of pullover camouflaged smocks are made of waterproof cotton duck. Camouflaged panzer uniforms using these patterns on the HBT are also difficult to find as not that many were made... sort of a temporary solution until the dot camouflaged pattern was developed, at which time uniforms and panzer uniforms were manufactured in that pattern, printed only on one side.
