I am seeking guidance on the matching of a helmet cover to the relevant size helmet. I have a larger WSS cover of the first type with no size marking. It appears clearly too big for a 64 cm and on a 66 M42 seems to fit reasonably snugly with some ripples. Looking at available still and video pics, it appears they may have been a little loose rather than stretch tight. Another thought was to have it loose so as not to put too much strain on old springs and material. Would appreciate your views.
