John, on this tunic just the boards where missing and I found a nice Ostmark pair just last year to complete it.

Im not big fan from this tunic, this type of size stamp and liners is to finde on good fakes,so this one is maybe good and look good, but realy bad investment imo,

The price is very high ..but it never hurts to look at something and admire it. I would pay $17,000 for THE RIGHT Waffen SS tunic if I had that kind of money.Maybe you could ask that from someone who collects SD items?
Notice my emphasis on my words "THE RIGHT". Because It would have to be one of a couple specific tunics that I am aware of out there..not just any tunic.Thats what happens...someone buys a specific piece for high dollar amount and suddenly every tunic has its value raised by the sellers.Perhaps something unique about that one tunic brought the buyer to that decision to pay..there is alot more involved than just money.

                  JUDAS-
UNFORTUNATELY, MOST COLLECTORS ARE ONLY INTERESTED IN WAFFEN SS. A NAMED, PUBLISHED AND DOCUMENTED TUNIC IS FAR RARER THAN ANY WAFFEN SS TUNIC(EXCEPT A NAMED GENERAL OFFICER). JUST NOT AS MUCH INTEREST. I WOULD LOVE TO SEE PICTURES OF YOUR TUNIC.

                      Hello
I agree ,I don't like these markings ,they are the type you see inside repros.
I could be wrong but IMHO I would expect a different type of stamp.
                      Regards

                          All bad in my opinion.

I can entertain a lot of doubt to those markings inside it as well as the lining material.

Im afraid I would need more than that to convince me its bad .But in looking at photos of original examples I can see where doubts can be raised.
