The LAH officer ciphers are not authentic. The shoulder straps... are the LAH embroidered ciphers sewn directly onto the shoulder straps, or have they been cut out and then applied to the top of the shoulder straps? I can see some faint lines which make it look like the latter. If so, then I would say they are not right. For these early styled shoulder straps, the ciphers should be sewn on directly to the straps. I can certainly understand and accept this practice for the mid-to-late war shoulder straps but not the early ones.
