Totenkopf collar tab for review and approval

    Hi guys-

Here's a nice tunic-removed embroidered Totenkopf collar tab I just received. As you may or may not know, I collect tunic-removed SS insignia so I was quite happy to add this one to my (slowly!) growing collection. It looks 100% correct to me but I would appreciate your opinions

    Thanks!
    Rob

            Congratulations!

This "Dachau" TK tab is quite rare to find as a used one! Mostly you find them stone mint as depot finds, giving them less feel.

                Hi guys-

Thanks for all the comments! Felix, I agree that you don't see these Dachau style tabs removed from tunics very often, which is why I was a bit skeptical when I bought it. I knew the tab itself was original but wasn't too sure if it might have been added to a tunic post-war and subsequently removed (a restoration or put-together tunic). However, once it arrived and held it in hand there was little doubt that it was a period applied tab with nice, honest wear and aging. I'm very happy with it

                Thanks,
                Rob

                  Hi Rob,

Be very happy with it! It's a nice tab and not common to find it in this worn and nice condition! Congrats!

                  Kind regards,
                  Gerd V
