    Frundsberg BeVo... Original?

    Hello
Is this Frundsberg BeVo Cuff Title sold at Grenadier Military Antiques an original one?

The title is a fine original.

      Gunter,

I ditto what Greg has already mentioned. Nice somewhat salty piece, although it doesn't look to be tunic removed. If you were wanting to get one, then I would go after it. Regards, Grant

        Thanks for the help guys,
Although I'de love to own one, I certainly cannot afford one as of now unfortunantly.

I am still in a process of learning to identify one of these from a high quality fake. So as of now I am taking an oppotunity to educate myself from this rare hard to find original.

I initially thought this one was a reproduction, is it just my crude observation or are there slightly different varients of BeVo Frundsberg out there?

There is a slight difference to the frundsburg titles from the regular bevo manufacture but not by much.

Same with some other BeVo syle titles too.
Anyhow sad to see that the title market crashed so way down for the regular titles these days. Will see how it will go further with it.

              Not to change subject...

              Robert,

Is a Flatwire DAS REICH a common title? As I have recently parted with my BEVO collection. Wondering where this one would be in the desirability column.

I would rate it as a very rare one. But latley some titles are not anymore so much appreciated anymore how I see it. But anyhow the collector has to be happy with it and that is why I still like cufftitles in my taste field.

                  Craig,

Das Reich, in flatwire, will always be a very desireable cuff title. I am sure you already got several PMs about it. It is a unit with a fine history and one that fought to the end in the west.
