The cufftitle that started this thread is bad IMO, I cant be convinced otherwise and I feel bad if they paid more than $50.00 for it.

      Eddie-

I posted this in the thread listed in the first post, but I'll post it here too as this is the approprite place to carry on this discussion.

I agree that the cufftitle that started this thread is rather crude and differs significantly in the level of detail and quality of embroidery, but what do you think about the RZM tags and the actual cufftitle itself? I've never met Bob in person nor have I ever purchased anything from him, but based on what I've read here he does seem to be one of the foremost authorities on SS cloth...

Not blindly defending anyone or anything - just trying to learn. I'd appreciate hearing what exactly it is that leads you to believe that the CT in question is bad.

      Thanks.

This appears to have reached a final conclusion with Gary's help.

          How about this one?

Can I get some opinions of authenticity of this type?

I don't think I would have that one for my collection - it's just a bit too far out there. Is that not the cuff title on a tunic for sale??

Not very precise, much less threatening. I always thought these were not made after pre-war transition period. I have seen many, many variations, but this appears unlikely IMO.

This one reminds me of Sloth from The Goonies
I'm no expert by any means, but it looks bad. Very, very bad.

Maybe its a later war type issued to the ss flak, and its keeping an eye out for US and Russian aircraft

It's pretty quiet on this one - where are all our other TK collectors? Or maybe it's just so laughable they don't need to comment???

Where is this title offered for sale? Is it on a tunic?

                              Cheers, Ade.
