    12th SS Panzer Div Hitlerjungend

Hello, I am a new member wanting to display a silver plate engraved 12th SS Panzer Div Hitlerjungend and RZM stamp. I don't have attachment posting priviledges. How can I share this item for viewing? I need comments for authenticity and possible sell. Thanks everyone for helping the "new guy".

Hi, welcome to the forum. You can either do the Association member thing ($25.00, well spent I must say) and you get privileges, or you can use a web-hosting service.

Do a search on "posting pictures" or some such, you'll find the directions you need.

I know you are new here, but please don't ask the same question in different threads and in seperate sub-forums.....that way people will not waste their time repeating or duplicating answers......

Otherwise, I hope you enjoy it here......

Thanks for the advice & tolerance while I learn. I hope this is the right forum for this request.

The Silver Plate engraved with 12th SS Panzer Div Hitlerjugeng as well as other items I hope to sell if they prove to be original are in the links below. Any thoughts or comments as to a fair price. I recently tried to sell on ebay but sell was canceled. Here are my web hosting links :

There is no reason in the world why a serving plate would have an RZM mark - so it's a fake. "NYSILVER" is a Swedish mark for the German "Neusilber", so the base plate before engraving was Swedish.

Not an expert on eagles and skulls. Sorry.

Skull and eagle are fakes too.

I really appreciate the comments and value the expert opinions. I suppose I should trash it...no since in propagating fake. I have never been a collector of militaria, but I am a "pack rat" from my twelve plus years of living in Germany. Perhaps everything I ever got from Neuhausen Germany is suspect. Sorry for wasting your time.

                  Hi Scott,

Never be embarassed - we all have a drawer full of suspect items, and there's always someone out there who knows more. That's why we all use the forum and help each other. Half of the questions on these forums are "Is this real"? I just posted one myself in an area I don't know a lot about.

You might even find a buyer for the pieces sold as reproductions. The plate is very nice looking and will probably fetch a decent price as a repro for display. Without the RZM mark, it would probably pass as original.

Keep collecting and posting (or even better, post, and then collect!).

                    Hello Scott!

First, join the forum--you'll learn a lot, and you can post pics!

Second, you can sell your items in the Bazaar section of the estand...even though they are fakes, someone may want them as fillers, for displays, etc. and so your stuff can be of use to someone!

                    Cheers!
