The SS-Leistungsrune in wear...

Dear all,

I am sure that this is a rare picture from my collection: a (most likely Dutch!) volunteer wearing the (bronze?) SS-Leistungsrune! The picture is dated on the back: 30 November 1944. I also like the nice (confusing!) array of insignia he is wearing: an odd mixture of Dutch black SS (boards, piped colar & piped collartabs) and standard Waffen-SS insignia (cap and arm-eagle!

Thanks a lot! I have seen two bronze given to norwegian vollentairs. I believe they were won in Holland.

I've no records of norwegians taking this in Holland, but in Prag in the; SS-Reichsschule für Leibeserziehung
