    HBT Camo Material - QUESTION

    I hope I am not too "paranoid" with my new purchase, but it is always "better to be safe than sorry".
    In short words, I have a question:

    Were all Period HBT materials made exactly same? - I mean, were they weaved with the same pattern/structure/texture?

    I will try to explain myself better.
    Here is a close-up picture of 100% period HBT material (cut from an original tunic). On this picture, you can see HBT structure, how it is weaved.

      On the picture below, I placed (for comparison) the "Green" HBT (from the first image) on top of the Dot-tunic material. Different color and from different tunics, but their structure/weaves match perfectly - exactly same.

        Now, here is the dot-trousers that I just bought. The front and back of the pants are made with HBT cloth of two different shades (front is lighter).

          Here is a close-up image of HBT material from the front of the trousers (right on the picture) and from the back (left on the picture).
          The pattern of HBT is different than on the tunic.

                Hi BNZ,

                there are, from my experiance, some HBT variations among original TR clothing. I have a Navy HBT work tunic, three Heer (green HBT Tunics) and, one ss dot pattern tunic. Some have the same and some have different weave patterns. Lets, also not forget the police ss dot patern jacket (take a look at Bill Shea's ss police dot pattern jacket) weave patern which in general differ from your trouser's and other ss dot pattern items.

                All in all, no there is not, one single weave pattern. Some variations exist.
