    This is an interesting thread.
Now,as told in my first post in this thread I would say that Lorenz "Das Reich" cuffband looks fine to me and I would know why a "Deutschland" tite with 6 strands is good and one "Das Reich" no?

    Cheers,
    Francesco

I have had a cut down Der Fuhrer with six strands, and a Deutschland with 6 that were correct.
If you study cuff titles, you will know what to look for,
Good luck in this mine field,

I have been happy with both ?
I do not know if there is a list, I would judge each piece on its own merits. Just a a "sixer" could be real so could we find on the other hand that a "sevener" could be just as easily fake...for example I have heard that the common numbered Alg. SS titles are being bought up and brought to Europe and having the numbers removed and being embroidered re-embroidered with exotic lettering.....and these have seven strands as far as I know.

              Cheers

The discussion with respect to 6 or 7 strand cufftitles has been going on as long as I can remember, some like the 6 standers, but personally I don't.

robert h please explaine then if you make fake cuff's would't you made a 6 strands witsch made a lot of discusion.

yust a simple reason but very reasoneble if i would't made a fake i would't not have this discusion and made a 7 strand.
i think we are becoming too paranoid with these /the cuff titles
and we will only see textbook.
my personel opinion is that afther 60 years we will only see one type from das reich.
they have made if i am simple counting more then 25000 cuff titles from that division(rzm/bevo/handembroid)can there be not such a little mistake ?
                  this is just a discusion.
i have not the knowledge too know the answer about the orders who have too make the cuff.and who made them but my opinion is that it is too easy too say fake too this cuff.
                  for sutch a little detail.

                  regards johan

Since I collect I noticed as more collector years and decades follow also more variations are getting accepted (but has nothing to do with this title).
