    It has nothing to do with SS. It is Nationalsozialistische Volkswohlfahrt, a charity organization in Germany.

      Hi Birdie, Bob is correct. It is a badge for "Nationalsozialistische Volkswohlfahrt" a Nazi charitable organization which was founded in 1933.
