Hi i thought this woud be a very good teaser as i have always tried to read this name tag. Its on an SS 4 pockect tunic (army) that has past the test of time and examination but never had a successfull translation of this - any experts fancy this i would be very gratefull.

I have looked at your label, and i am sorry I cannot make out the name.
However, are you sure that the label is original to the jacket? As it is a manufacturers label that appears to have been crudely hand sewn in. Could we see pictures of the rest of the tunic please?

I would also appreciate seeing some photos of the rest of the tunic. I do not think it is possible to read the name, unfortunately.

The label really needs to be scanned perfectly flat if you're ever going to make it out. I noticed the hand sewing too, which is unusual for the pocket label (more commonly seen on the 'bevo' type maker's logo sewn usually at the neck). I don't see any extra holes, though, and the label doesn't look trimmed, so it could be OK...
