    Norwegian Quisling insignia...What is it?

    Dear all,

I was lucky to acquire a large collection of world-wide Nazi party insignia...amongst these I found the following two insignia.

The small badge seems to be real silver, has a small enamel chip and is marked: '9255'.

I know they are Norwegian but what are they and what is their approx. value?

Please see also my other threads for other badges (Belgium, Italy, Denmark, France and unknown).

Hi Coco, I believe that the eagle insignia was worn by members of the "N.S. Youth Organization." The other item is a N.S. membership badge. I also have them listed in my web site:

        Hi Coco.

Thats correct what Rene writes, but the capbadge in zink was also used by the Kvinne organisasjonen (Womens organisation), Kvinnehird (women over 18 years), Jentehird (women under 18 years), småhird (girls 10-14 years), Unghird (boys 18-14 years), guttehird, (boys 10-14 years).

See picture of a 15 years old girl in the Jentehird !

          Hello!
Derek is right. The badge is a large membership badge for NS, they came in different versions, but maily one miniature which was much used, and this larger one.
It is difficult to set a value. These items are sometimes found here in Norway, and would maybe cost 120 USD for the eagle since the pins are intact, and the badge might cost 100 USD.
