    Ss Ring With Ausweis #

Hi Guys, leave this up to you with more knowledge.
Picked up this page? with the ring and case together.
Story is came out of a attic together. I know about the "stories", but what do you think.
Rings are hard, I understand that. But what do you say about this?
    Any help, please!
    Regards,
    Gary

The SS-Ausweis looks 100% correct I love the "dreamy" photo

Can't say much on the ring, though!

Just found out the Himmler sig is a stamp, not an actual signature.
                        Still worth something?
                        Regards,

                          Gary-

Original SS-Ausweis are rather hard to find, but from my experience Ausweis for enlisted men (such as yours) are a bit more common than SS-Unterf******252;hrer Ausweis. SS-F******252;hrer (officer) ausweis are very difficult to find!

Not sure what the blue diagonal line across the front implies. I didn't find anything on him in the Volksbund graebersuche. It's possible that the ID was invalidated for several reasons...can't say for sure. Still, a nice example in good condition. From experience I would put the price between $250 to $400.00 (400 being on the high side imho) but that's just my estimate.

                          Rob

                            Thanks Rob
But that price would be just the Ausweis itself, right?
Both pieces came together, so it makes no sense to break them up.
No actual provenance they belong together, just that they were the only items found together.
                            Regards,
                            Gary

The marker slash shows that the pass was no longer valid and either its owner had died or a new one was re-issued.
