Atleast I haven't seen any dealer in the U.K or Europe trying to sell Adolf's top hat or Eva's undies yet, but I've seen it elsewhere... But I'm also able to find some of the best dealers in the same country.
    My 2 cents

actually most of the bad mouthing about other dealers comes from within, people trying to enhance a reputation, on the backs of others...... Guy.. Spot on mate

          Hi Bob-

A most interesting tab indeed. As you mentioned, because these were hand embroidered and hand made, you can expect to see some slight variations from piece to piece. This one has a very "unique" look to it but as you said the construction and materials all look good. I look forward to seeing more pictures!

          Thanks for sharing,
          Rob

                Hi Gary,
A Lobsterback is what some American colonials called British Redcoats during the Revolution. As well as calling them Regulars.

                    Hi Gary,
No problem, afterall I do teach US history and I knew it would come to some use on this forum.

                    Regards,

                      Hi

Going back to the Item itself - i have always liked that tab and i hope it turns out as a genuine item as it will look well on a tunic . Bob will have done well and he also would have had a nice result from martin . I was with Martin all the way through the SOS show and we enjoyed meeting all concerned .

The coment about dealers good or bad is the same as people there are good and bad in every country but we have to understand to have Martins or Bobs , Grants knowlege the journey is very long and i have nothing but respect for these people weather there from any country.

I enjoyed the show very much and i hope this tab turns out to be real

I have had great success with the dealers I have purchased from in the UK. I also know who to avoid! Anyone can make a mistake now and then. If most of the items on their web site are mistakes, that is likely not a good place to shop.

Does this tab employ the standard cardboard template? If so, I see no reason why it should not be a nice original...

                          Cheers,
                          Arran.

I have had many dealing with Martin over the last year and would have no hesitation whatsoever in recommending him as being a totally trustworthy and honorable man.
