    However, just based on what you wrote, I already have some concerns. I believe Deschler stopped using tombac and switched to cupal before starting the use of the M1/52 RZM marking code. Also, "frosted" is not an adjective I would expect to be associated with an original Deschler skull. I hope I am mistaken, but I think you are describing a repro. I am anxious to see the photo to confirm or refute my suspicion.
