Those awards are:iron cross 2 ribbon on button, ndh war ribbon with shahovnica on button. the medals, linden leaf for ndh east front veterans and normal medals we all know. Ribbons probably are the iron trefoil ribbon, zvonimir crowns 1st and 2nd class, croatian wound medal. Looks like the shoulder board is on of these three post stalingrad reformed units 373rd, 392nd or 369th croatian legion (Heer). I believe after stalingrad 369th was reformed and fought in bosnia. My wifes grandfather was in the 369th at stalingrad. The man in the photo is none other than a survivor evacuated from stalingrad wounded before a handfull of survivors surrendered on feb 2nd at the airforce building. Most of these guys in the photos if they survived bosnia and croatia fighting the partisans most likley dissappeared on the bleiburg march and will be located someday in the estimated 550 sites in slovenija as theyre starting to excavate over time. They have in the 90s just found the anti tank ditch outside maribor where the majority of ustasa are buried 1,5m-2m deep and for 3km long. This column my freind witnessed turn off from the march towards maribor. The war diary for the 369th alot of people are waiting to see released from belgrade with other important croatian documents. Maybe the men in the photo can be identified then who knows.
