SS cuffband value

Hello forum and collectors,

first I want to say a big hello to the SS Forum on "Wehrmachts-awards.com". I want to spend here now also my time to get and try to give knowledege to me and other collectors. My collecting area is over all in SS items, I like mostly early SS-VT / SS-TK / allg. SS. From them I collect the insignias over all also Uniforms, pictures and documents, and daggers etc. I search now also contact to SS insignias collectors in the USA because I am german and live now since 9/11 2001 in MI USA.


So now my question

What would be the value in the moment for a allg. SS cuffband where the border lines are coloured ? I didn´t see them over the last years but I am interested if they are also so high on the market like other items ?

welcome!
Well there are plenty of heavyweights on cuff bands here and Woody specializes in Allg SS.
I used to collect cuffbands myself but only to the Waffen SS.
It also became apparent that they went for more in the USA.
More disposable income??

Welcome to the forum! With respect to your question, I think it would depend on the color and also what is denoted on the cuffband.

welcome, I think it is as Tony has said dependant on what is on the cuff title,

I think some of the honour title prices and rarity well out strip any of the waffen-ss cuff titles

Gary this is realy a amazing coloured cuffband collection.
Yes this are the ones that I mean like with blue, bright blue, green, red borders. Are they now very rar and what you think would be the normal value for them ?

I have noticed a high rise in the prices of late, price's are different from dealer to dealer, so there is (IMO) no real guide

I will get next time a blue coloured cuffband from the 7th Sturm in the 2. Sturmbann. It is the one what is on Weitzes webside.
I don´t want to send pictures from him about the copyright, but I think the price is relay fair. I mean the band is a little cutted the total length is now 37cm, what I like a lot is the early label with RZM 1a/35 SS marked.
