Arran, I believe that the collar looks replaced, is because this is a dyed DDR tunic. Whipcord body, wool collar...Not SS IMO...

It is interesting to note that a dubious Luftwaffe leather jacket just sold on ebay (reference Item number: 230074979814) with the exact the same tailor tag... Tag perhaps being faked??? Coincidence? Just wondering! Nick
