What are your opinions on this SD Police Helpers Armband

Printed armbands such as this are quite easy to manufacture. Due to the secritive nature of the organization, it is unlikely an item like this would be manufactured for civilian workers. I have never seen or heard of another. I have serious doubts as to the period manufacture of this piece.

This armband did exist; the SD during the war was not quite as elite as one may think. See Brian Davis' Badges and Insignia Plate 34 #9 or Mollo's Uniforms of SS the SD volume Page 28. Although the books only have drawings, at least it existed on paper. I've never seen one so I'm no closer to telling you if it is real though.
