Dear Gentlemen,

I have the opportunity to buy this tunic.I'm been looking a while for a nice SS officers tunic to restore.So maybe this the one But as always I want to hear someone others opinions too.So,what do you think,any remarks ,red flags or is this just a nice worn tunic ??

Looks pretty good to me Etienne but could be a WH tunic, have you a closeup of the left pocket? What do you think about?

''no doubt this was SS.NO evidence of it ever being army"

Looks promising. How about close-up pictures of the right chest and the area where a sleeve eagle was?
BTW, restoration of the SS tunic can easily take more $$$ than just buying a complete one.

Certainly looks like the privious collar tabs had sat in for a long time. About the size you would expect for an SS tunic not Heer.

I normally dont contribute on this forum in particular since selling my SS items back in 95-96 but I have been rebitten by the bug.

A tunic with the amount of nape left & the amount of wear in the 'just the right' spots always makes me nervous but from images alone I have to agree it looks promising.

the problem is very simple,
the officier wh and ss jacket is exactly the same model, just the insigina is different...
I would want a best bresteagle picture...

Hi Etienne, I would still like to see a clear shot of the potential Heer breast eagle area. That first photo looks like it has been smudged out a bit using "photoshop" to me?
