    Cap Eagle ?

    Hello,
    One of the smaller dealers has this for under $300. Any thoughts? Thanks for any help...Karl

                  I was writing my first reply before you had even posted a photo of the reverse. The front displays some of the obvious characeristics of this breed of fake: sneering beak, misplaced breast feathers, curved feather lines in the lower wings, etc. I didn't need to see the reverse. This one has that bogus 360 contract number, but this same front is also found on fakes with other backs which more closely match original styles, including correct maker marks.
