Ganze Liste,
I have a few questions about the SS m40 and "Kharkov" type parkas that I'm hopeing I can have answered here. Did the majority of these parkas have the following features;
1. Windcuffs inside the sleeves.
2. Under arm vents.
In the Beaver/Borsarello SS Camo book they show several fotos of this type parks in use as well as on display. The display models tend to have two different button setups on the front closure. On one the button holes run vertical and on the other the button holes are horizontal. I own a full button front fur lined parka in Italian camo and the closure is the storm flap type with the button holes being horizontal. It has the wind cuffs as well as the under arm vents. I'm wondering if the earlier style parkas had these features as well or were these modifications that were added after years of trial and error.
