Hi André, the SS camo field cap is a much copied item. These range from very well done, to the poorer type of fake shown here. Some use original material cut from zeltbahns, whereas others are made for re-enactors from repro material.

Points to note are that these caps were made to be reversable, with a green pattern on one side and a brown pattern on the other. They were not maker marked to my knowledge.

We do have some pics of rare originals on the forum. I know Bob has shown some.
