Latvia Help/Ideas

Hello Gents

I am off to Latvia for 1 year - to Riga to be precise. I know that there were many SS soldiers there and who are still alive and have various marches etc. After 2 years in Silesia, I managed to accumulate a wealth of German militaria from German veterans (all proved original by this site ).
I plan to to do the same in Latvia - if I can.
Does anyone know a good place to start??

Any luck with your persuits in Riga? I am sure the War Museum on Smilsu Iela is a good start. I myself have been fortunate to receive German militaria from surviving legionnaires in the UK.
