Regarding the use of metal-lions on collar tabs, here's a picture showing an 100% original pair of norwegian Hilfs-Polizei collartabs from the period 1942-45. These collartabs belongs to the collection of my good friend Scanman.

Scanman will also like to take the opportunity to inform all collectors that these types of lions, model 1905, has also been used by norwegian cadets of the norwegian war academy (Krigsskolen) from about 1945 into ca. 1960's, when they began to use the correct lion, model 1937, on their shoulderboards.

So this type of lion, model 1905, have probably been produced continually by the norwegian firm Corneliussen & Olsen in Oslo upo into the 1960's.

Therefore, so the conclusion has to be that collectors should be little aware.

It's a copyright on the before published picture.

I also by the way think that showing the whole picture has relatively little with the whole context to do as these things without no doubt comes from the KIA closest family.
