The cap: I don't like the two-colored bill and if it is an officer cap, why doesn't it have officer aluminum wire piping? The silver bullion cap eagle for me is all out of proportion: wings are too wide, wreath and swastika is too big for the rest of the eagle, etc. And as Felix pointed out, the runic tab on the collar is a reproduction. With all of that, the shoulder boards are probably bad too. They look too short; there's too much room between the shoulder boards and the collar. This outfit requires more study and close pictures.

The jacket has a very odd shape. It looks twisted on this torso. The buttons are not centered. It also has a very narrow waist -- almost looks like it is cut for a woman. The pockets are not the same distance from the buttons -- look how far to the right the right pocket is. It looks like it is all the way to the arm seam.

I'm not a SS collector per-say, but I know tunics and that tunic is as wrong as a football bat! Wrong cut in the collar and lapels. I would venture to say that is a post war, police admin, tunic, of some sort? IMHO

          Hi

I hate to keep punching the tunic, but the Shoulder boards do not sit on the tunic naturally. Also there is thread on the boards ( see circle area). They may be replaced in my opinion. You could try to place your pinky ubder the shoulder board and see if you feel a space under the seam?
I learned that from Glenn ( formerly known as feldwebel).
Also you could see from the inside if the seam had been opened

I think shoulder boards were cutted too. I will check it next time I have on hand, is not mine. Thanks for help.
