Opinions solicited Hussar TK and SS-40 TK

[Texasuberalles]

These came as a set some time ago from a collection of a WW2 vet who had 10-12 'sets' of cap insignia. Eagle/Wreath, Eagle/Rosette, etc. It looked like he had access to several caps and just removed the insignia 'set'.

However, he had later 'collected' in a casual manner so his clutch could have been adulterated...........

Anyway this was the only SS 'set'.

it appears this is the SS '40' eagle if genuine?
The Hussar skull looks genuine as well?

I can't say about the TK, as that style is not my area of expertise, but the eagle is unquestionably bad. It is the standard pigeon-head fake which must be one of those he collected post-war.

Incidentally, there is no such original eagle as an RZM 40.

I think the TK is ok. Bad eagle though as Brad has already said.
