I got this indirectly from the family of an Colonel who was in the 93rd Evacuation Hospital. He was at Dachau on April 29 1945 at the time of the liberation. The armband was one of many items he sent home. I hope the pics come out decent. Does anyone know if there is any use differance between this armband and the "Im Dienst der Waffen-SS" variety? SS cloth experts, is there any difference in usage between this armband and the "Im Dienst der Waffen-SS" variety or are they one in the same? Curious minds want to know.

Well Im not an expert but refering to Angolias Cloth insignia of the SS I think both these armband were used in the same way.
