Were paper RZM tags ever put on the SS arm band?

The ones I have seen (and have in my collection) are all "D" level RZM tags, on the unstripped wool armbands. Some collectors debate these, but I have gotten too many of these from vets over the years to not believe even if they didn't wear them, they made them.

Charles, I would look for the gothic paper tag, which in some circles is considered the earlier of the two. I personally like the cloth black tag myself keeping in mind resale purpose. Sonny
