    Landstorm Nederland collar tabs ? ? ?

    Hello boys & girls,

I would like to hear your opinions on the collar tabs shown below.
No story behind it, I bought them years ago from a German who said he had now idea what they were.
I hoped it was Landstorm Nederland, although they didn’t look regular.
Nowadays I am a little more skeptic about people selling things and not knowing what it is.
So I thought it was time to have these judged by you.
Gentleman, please shoot and don’t be shy!
    All comments are very welcome.
First pic is a bit blurry, I got a new camera and I am still a little inexperienced with al those pixels.
But the rest is better I think.

    Best regards,
    Martin

            Hi Martin,

Could we see a pic of the back as well please?
The picture of the front doesn't give me a good feeling though...

Try taking some pictures outside the house without a flash. That might give a better result.

edit: Thanks for the pics of the back... I wouldn't want these tabs in my collection.... sorry...

            Kind regards,
            Gerd V

              Goodmorning Gerd,

              You are early today!
I will try to make some daylight pics this evening.

              Best regards,
              Martin

                Hi Gerd,

I also had my doubts, some things are to good to be true.
But it was just a feeling, I am far from an expert on these so I don't know the clues which raise the red flags.

                Best regards,
                Martin

                    Hi Johan,

I really don't know and I hope someone can tell me.
I have also seen just pictures of the metal flaming bomb, for instance on the picture in Foreign Legions from Willy What's-his-name.

But even if these are fakes, aren't we happy everytime something pops up on the forum concerning The Netherlands / Lowlands?
                    I am for sure!

                    Kind regards,
                    Martin

                        ofcourse martin

when i see what is saved over the years concerning the dutch ss and let's say vlaanderen then must i admit that the dutch haven't saved that mutch of pieces from the dutch ss (12000 members ).
what i know from dutch ss collecters but maybe are ore foreign collecters more lucky with dutch ss.
i self have owned only one dutch ss m36 jacket.and i got that one with a unbelieveble luck.
everything has being put in the very big "beerput" as they say in the netherlands

                        regards johan

                          Hello Martin,

Personally, I do not think these collar tabs are original. They are very crudely constructed and I have never seen such tabs on any period photo. It is possible though, to encounter hand embroidered collar tabs.

Johannes, is it possible to see pictures of your Dutch M36 jacket? I would love to see some photos and hear more about its backgrounds, either on this forum or by PM.

                          Cees

Bob & Cees, also thanks for your comments.

So if I got things clear: we all think probably not good, nobody saw these on any period material and nobody saw them in real.
Better said: nobody saw tabs like this before!

Am I allowed to speak of extremely rare reproductions????
