            It looks like the "Eastern Peoples" Gov't Officials eagle, but I have not seen one on a backing like that. Can you get a better photo for it?

                hello the stripes are british army ,as sewn on to the british army battle dress blouse ,they are not africa issue those type are on a tan backing , they are worth about 15 euros hope this helps

                    The eastern eagle is probably occupied territorys offical..made in bevo for m43 or overseas cap I think..Check relichunter.com headgear for similiar item..Billbert

                          Eastern peoples official eagle

                          Yes the rank stripes are standard run of the mill no thrill UK issue. The eagle on the other hand is nice! It is an eagle for an Eastern peoples territory governmental official, as worn in the Ukraine and General Gouvernment (Poland). Based on its shape and trim, I agree its for an M43 type field cap. Nick

                            Hi, Some other ppl looked very carefull to it, and they said it is an insignia for a M43 cap from the TOD, also because the eagle looks to the other way.

                              Sorry but I disagree... its for sure not an Org.Todt eagle, those look more like wehrmacht eagles. Its definitely an eastern peoples governmental cap eagle. The shape of the wing and eagle's head facing left are typical!
