I thought this was the 'new member' that we were going to ignore because he's a dealer or fronting for a dealer who is selling junk on eBay. And here we are once again catering to him and trying to convince him that his cap is a fake. We seem to have short memories here. Check out the thread in which he put up a bad LAH NCO tunic. Plus he's put up all this stuff on other forums as well.

I am not an expert on visor hats, but I would not buy an SS hat with army acceptance markings, for an issue NCO hat, under the sweat band. I also can positively say the insignia is fake. The holes in piping and nap of wool look artificially made.

I would not buy this hat. It looks like a new SS exterior built on an army NCO liner, visor and frame.

Sorry I was not paying attention to the poster. Bob is right; this is the guy who is honing his wears here at our expense.

isn't this the "der adler" guy from AHF who posted a dozen threads of a dozen bad schirmmutzen and all of them prominently featuring his bed in the background, usually with a mickey mouse blanket?

                          I don't think they're authentic. I didn't see the R. Z. Mouse stencil on them!

Just to add to the humor, here is his ebay name and a shot of Mickey. I am sure he has changed names by now but this was the one he was using.

The visor on the dresser does not have insignia . As they say the devil is in the detail. Jacques
