    the collectors guild

    Hello everyone,

Just wanted some opinions on The Collectors Guild. I purchased some SS nco tabs and rank tab and wanted to ask other's opinion on The Collectors Guild. I've heard good things, but a second opinion never hurts. I cant post the pics from their website and I still don't have the tabs so the best I could do is list the item number and link to the website if anyone wants to see them. Thanks for all the responses and help.

    Regards,

    Alex Alaniz

    Hello,

While this is the wrong forum to post such a message I can say that I have heard great things about Peter's site.

    Hope this helps.

I have dealt with Peter on a few occasions and I would say that he is one of the "Good Guys" in this hobby.

The KM cap tally prices are shocking!

Great items and certainly a very, very good dealer, but watch out for those shipping charges! $25 for a pin! Ouch

As a seller and buyer from Pete and team I cannot say enough good things about them. Yes, some items have caught them out - (we're ALL fallable), but then the return policy is faultless. You pay for the best, admittedly, but the after sales service is second to none.
                      That's my experience.
                      Regards to all!

I dont think twice about buying from him or paying the shipping costs. He is the best dealer out there IMO. Striving to keep only the good flowing from his site and not afraid to admit an ever so seldom mistake.

I to will echo all comments that peter is an awsome person to deal with. He is very through with his descriptions and is very passionate about the hobby and if an items is questionable he will not list it. Dealt with him several times and he is very good. Prices are high, but as everyone has said you get what you pay for and its pretty much guaranteed and if you don't like it you can get your money back. But watch out for the shipping charges, i bought two splinter zelts and it was like 30 or 35 USD and i live in minnesota, so its just a hop skip and a jump over the boarder. Maybe the Canadian post office hates us and charges extra to send stuff to the US?? Who knows, but great guy to deal with IMO. Matt

maybe so but KM cap tallies are not that expensive and obtainable. Another big (not cheap dealer) has better condition ones for literally half price to 1/4 the price depending on the piece. I can understand charging a premium on high end items, or super condition items, but cap tallies? Not mint cap tallies???? That just seems out of line! I would like to think he is unaware of the value of these otherwise that is just plain taking advantage. It may well be he doesn't have a basis for priceing these because they seem out of proportion expensive with his prices on other items.
