          I just found this thread--very interesting! I have 2 SA drillisch tunics that are very similar to this one--same greyish brown color. They are twill, but the RZM manual also indicates that there was also an HBT version for the SA. All are super rare and virtually unknown, although period photos and RZM documents verify their existance and usage. I assume they're identical, unless there is an indication on the RZM labels.

                    Yes I still own the tunic, but I dont have it with me so I cant check the buttons right now, in true are years that I dont look at this tunic.
                    First time I will have the chance I will check and I will let yoy know.

                      As already said by my estimed colleague Erich B., HBT was also used by the SA and the NSKK for this kind of tunic with, as seen, the same cut.

                      So without any RZM tag or an other marking (or provenance) which could tell an SS assignment...

                      Think no one can affirm it's an SS tunic...
