this is an old Austrian fake i think you will find examples of this in the fake thread top of the forum

your fake eagle is somewhat earlier than that, i can remember these in the early 70's they have tried to mimic the woven look even though it is machine embroidered

Could you kindly take a look at the two RZM ones I have posted yesterday? I am trying to learn their variations, and categorize them by earlier vs. later appearance but it seems that no two are alike. Different design, different backing, different shade etc... Oh, if my attempt is like fighting against wind mills, just tell me;-)
