Robins had very worn rings with the inside just fine. There are also photos on the GDC HR forum with very worn outside band and the inside just fine..My Mothers wedding band is 55 years old. Worn smooth on the outside but inside engraving still legible....
That could be a perfectly fine original ring,,,better photos would be needed to tell authenticity.....

              yes

id take a bet on it , if robin even shows the slightest interest in it, theres a chance its good what youd receive when it arrived would be another matter though.

Well, the ring looks good to me.

I was only trying to give you folks a chance to bid on something that you could have missed........the seller has done himself no favours by advertising it in the 1919-38 section and not even spelling 'skull' correctly.

I won't be bidding......but only because he does not ship outside the US.

                      Robin,

I'll bid for ya and then ship it right to the land of the Scotts. Have you asked him to make an exception, surely you have a high feedback score?

The piece is totaly "Knackered" it is not worth puting in a collection. A price of $300 is above what it is worth a a pure "currio". If you want a Ring they do come up in good condition at realistic price. Robin put it all so well when he said, "Thanks for the offer Bill, but I'll give someone else a chance". He wouldn't have a piece in this condition in his collection unless it was a gift.

Here's a worn one I used to have in my collection and was pleased to have it.

Each ring is unique, and the worn ones have a certain character.

Warlord is right in what he says.........rings in much better condition can be found.

But the worn ones are still worth having, if the price is realistic.

Also, you can wear them yourself without getting funny looks!

                              That's my opinion, anyway.
