SS Officer Leather belt and buckle

Could I please get some opinions on this belt and buckle. Late war washed buckle, unmarked and a tattered belt. I beleive it is good, but the belt condition is bothering me. The finish on the leather is chapped and flaking off. I was thinking about getting my money back, but these are hard to find.
    Opinions please....

    thank you, Jeff

I think you just answered your own question.

It's better to save up your money for something YOU'd like rather than buying it because it is available. By the way, zinc officers buckle aren't that rare. As for the belt, I can't believe it's that difficult to find either.

I haven't been to any shows outside of the state of Washington. This is the second one I've seen for sale. I never have seen one for sale on any dealer site.
I know the buckle itself is not the rarest, but the fact that it is attached to belt is what I am after.

You are right I did answer my own question, it's going back.

            Jeff
