It's incredible the the way your memory gets jogged, I had completely forgotten about the wipe clean dog tag . I think the medals all came in one go didn't they? I think it was issue 2 or 3. Thanks very much for taking the trouble to post them.

Yes...I remember Gruber.......
I still have my dagger somewhere in the boxes of "junk" from my parents....
I think I still have it but not sure, however the sister comic of Warlord and Lord Peter Flints cousin was called Fireball or something like that...agents had a red wallet and a huge medallion fiery "F" (appropriate for the 70's)!!!!!.

I'll have to find the other part(s) to that story now. Which issue of Warlord was the first episode in, i.e. the one you just posted?

Surprisingly good illustration work incidentally. I only say 'surprising' because I guess that cartoon work like that wouldn't have been the highest paying work around for talented illustrators back then - well before comic strips were validated as 'art' in the po-mo era.

Firstly, Fireball......this was a spinoff from Warlord and was supposedly Lord Peter Flint's cousin.....don't think it lasted for long!
